Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Working closely and assisting the Housekeeping Manager in the supervision of daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
-Supporting the delegation of tasks and the planning of work schedules. -Providing ongoing support and guidance towards the departmental goals.
-Taking part in the detailed inspections of all areas (guest rooms, public spaces) to ensure the implementation of high standard levels of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and conduct are maintained and the prescribed procedures are followed.
-Evaluation and report to the Manager any maintenance issues relating to the condition of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (faults/damages to be repaired in a timely manner).
-Maintaining a bonded, engaged team that work closely together to achieve optimum results.
-Performing any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications

-Proven Housekeeping/Laundry experience in a supervisory role ideally within 5* hotels/luxury resorts.
-Knowledge of MS Office.
-Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
-Knowledge of Health, Safety and Hygiene standards is essential.
-Committed to delivering high levels of guest service.
